Rotate 1 page(s) by 90°, keeping the other pages unchanged.

How it works

  • Read the document's page tree.
  • Resolve the requested pages and add the rotation to each page's existing /Rotate value.
  • Write the updated document, leaving every other page unchanged.
  • Nothing is uploaded; the rewrite runs in your browser.

Methodology

  1. Parse the page selection and validate each page against the real page count.
  2. Add the requested rotation to each selected page's /Rotate entry, combining with any existing rotation.
  3. Leave every unselected page untouched and refuse an encrypted or unsupported input by name.

Usage

  1. Choose or drop a PDF.
  2. Enter the pages to rotate and choose 90, 180 or 270 degrees.
  3. Run the rotation and download the result.

Examples

These are examples, not current values: they use fixed inputs, while the interactive tool computes live results in your browser.

Rotate page 1 by 90 degrees

jsonSelect to copy
{
  "pageCount": 4,
  "selection": "1",
  "rotation": 90,
  "baseName": "report"
}

Rotate pages 2-3 by 180 degrees

jsonSelect to copy
{
  "pageCount": 4,
  "selection": "2-3",
  "rotation": 180,
  "baseName": "report"
}

Limitations

Only the pages you choose

Rotation updates the selected pages' /Rotate value and writes a fresh valid PDF; unselected pages are copied unchanged.

The rotation is combined with any existing page rotation so repeated edits stay predictable.

Frequently asked questions

Does rotation change the other pages?
No. Only the pages you select are changed; every other page is left exactly as it was.
Is my PDF uploaded?
