Generated an ads.txt with 1 line(s) and 0 finding(s).

How it works

  • Read the seller domain, account id and relationship.
  • Validated the account id shape, the relationship and every additional line.
  • Emitted the seller line, any MANAGERDOMAIN variable and the extra lines in order.
  • ads.txt lists who may sell your inventory; it does not enable ads by itself.
  • The generator is a text tool: it never contacts an ad network.

Methodology

  1. Trim and lower-case the domain and account id, then validate each against the IAB ads.txt grammar.
  2. Emit the seller line as domain, account id, relationship and an optional certification-authority id.
  3. Validate every additional line and report each problem with its line number.

Usage

  1. Enter your bare seller domain (no https://).
  2. Enter your publisher account id in the pub- followed by 16 digits form.
  3. Choose the DIRECT or RESELLER relationship.
  4. Add an optional certification-authority id, manager domain or extra lines.
  5. Generate and copy the ads.txt.

Examples

These are examples, not current values: they use fixed inputs, while the interactive tool computes live results in your browser.

Limitations

What ads.txt is for

ads.txt lets a domain publish which companies are authorized to sell its ad inventory. Buyers can then check the file before spending.

The example account id pub-0000000000000000 is a clearly non-live placeholder; supply your own real id to publish.

Frequently asked questions

Is my publisher id sent anywhere?
No. The tool is a pure text transform that runs in your browser; the value you type never leaves the page.
What is the difference between DIRECT and RESELLER?
DIRECT means you have a direct business relationship with the seller; RESELLER means the seller is authorized to resell your inventory. Use the value that matches your contract.
