Runs entirely in your browser. Your input is never uploaded, stored, or sent to a third party.
Estimated 10.000000 USD for gpt-5.4.
How it works
- Cost = (input tokens ÷ 1,000,000) × input price + (output tokens ÷ 1,000,000) × output price.
- Input 2.500000 USD + output 7.500000 USD.
- Prices read from the provider pricing page on 2026-10-10; verify the current price at the source.
Methodology
- Take input and output token counts and a per-million-token price for each.
- Cost = (input tokens ÷ 1,000,000) × input price + (output tokens ÷ 1,000,000) × output price.
- Bundled prices come from a dated snapshot of the official provider pricing pages; each catalog entry carries its source URL and retrieval date, and an entry without both is excluded.
- When no cited entry matches, the tool reports 'not measured' or accepts prices you enter, which it does not verify.
Usage
- Enter the input and output token counts (estimate them with the Token Counter).
- Pick a cited model, or enter your own per-million-token prices.
- Read the estimated cost; the bundled catalog shows its source and retrieval date.
Examples
These are examples, not current values: they use fixed inputs, while the interactive tool computes live results in your browser.
A cited model
{

"outputTokens": 1000000
}Limitations
List prices are a starting point
Published list prices are the honest baseline, but real bills depend on caching, batch mode, long-context tiers and negotiated rates. Use this calculator for budgeting, then confirm against your provider invoice.
Frequently asked questions
- Are the prices live?
- No. The bundled prices are a dated snapshot read from the official provider pages; the tool shows the source URL and retrieval date and tells you to verify the current price at the provider.
- What does 'not measured' mean?
- It means no cited price was selected and no manual price was entered. The tool reports that instead of showing an invented figure.
- Is my usage data uploaded?
- No. The calculation runs in your browser; nothing is transmitted.
