Generated 2 paragraph(s), 6 sentence(s) and 48 word(s).
How it works
- Seeded a deterministic pseudo-random generator with the supplied seed.
- Built 3 sentence(s) of about 8 word(s) in each of 2 paragraph(s).
- Started the first sentence with the classic eight-word lorem ipsum opening.
- Capitalised each sentence and joined the paragraphs with a blank line.
- The same seed and counts always produce the same text.
- The opening sentence is at least the classic eight words long.
Methodology
- Read the paragraph, sentence and word counts and the seed.
- Seed a deterministic 32-bit pseudo-random generator with the seed.
- Draw words from the classic lorem ipsum vocabulary for each sentence.
- Optionally begin the first sentence with the classic opening, capitalise each sentence and join paragraphs with a blank line.
Usage
- Choose the number of paragraphs, sentences and words.
- Optionally set a seed or keep the classic opening.
- Run the tool and copy the generated text.

Why placeholder text is seeded
Unseeded placeholder generators produce different text on every run, which makes visual checks and tests noisy. A seed makes the output reproducible while still looking varied.
Frequently asked questions
- Why does the same seed always produce the same text?
- The generator uses a seeded pseudo-random function. Given the same seed and shape counts it produces exactly the same words, which keeps previews and tests stable.
- Can I get different text with the same counts?
- Yes. Change the seed and the generator produces a different arrangement of words.
