Converted 67 characters from json to csv.

How it works

  • Parsed the input with the pure in-browser engine.
  • Applied the documented CSV mapping rules.
  • Collected an explicit warning for every lossy transformation.
  • The conversion produced 0 warning(s); warnings are shown before the result.

Methodology

  1. Parse JSON with the F054 verbatim scanner, or CSV with the F056 RFC 4180 parser.
  2. For JSON to CSV, use the first-seen union of object keys as the header.
  3. Emit CRLF records with RFC 4180 quoting and report every lossy step.

Usage

  1. Choose JSON to CSV or CSV to JSON.
  2. Paste the document.
  3. Run the tool; read any warnings before copying the result.

Examples

These are examples, not current values: they use fixed inputs, while the interactive tool computes live results in your browser.

JSON to CSV

jsonSelect to copy
{
  "text": "[{\"name\":\"Ada\",\"role\":\"pioneer\"},{\"name\":\"Alan\",\"role\":\"engineer\"}]",
  "direction": "json-to-csv"
}

CSV to JSON

jsonSelect to copy
{
  "text": "name,role\r\nAda,pioneer",
  "direction": "csv-to-json"
}

Limitations

CSV structure

A CSV file is a header row followed by records. When JSON objects have different keys, the header is the union of keys in first-seen order and missing cells are empty.

Frequently asked questions

Which CSV dialect is produced?
RFC 4180: fields containing a comma, quote or newline are double-quoted, and embedded quotes are doubled.
Why is my number a string after a round trip?
CSV cells are text by definition; the JSON→CSV direction warns that typed values become strings.
Is my data uploaded?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser and is never sent anywhere.
