Cron Syntax
A reference for the five cron fields and the values each accepts.
A cron expression has five fields: minute, hour, day of month, month, and day of week. Each field accepts a value, a list, a range, or a step.
01The five fields
- Minute 0-59, hour 0-23.
- Day of month 1-31, month 1-12.
- Day of week 0-7, where both 0 and 7 mean Sunday.
- * means every value; a step such as */5 means every fifth value.
Day-of-month and day-of-week
When both day fields are restricted, cron matches if either one matches, not both.
